High Induction Diffusers

  • 3075 Slocan Street Vancouver, BC, V5M 3E4 Canada (map)

Join us at this meeting for an in-depth presentation on advanced high-induction duct diffusers and their practical applications, highlighting NAD Klima’s state-of-the-art solutions.

We will explore the efficiency of high-induction diffusers through both experimental and numerical approaches, showcasing their superior energy performance and ventilation effectiveness compared to traditional methods. By benchmarking five different RANS models and experimental measurements, we identified the most accurate CFD model for high induction diffusers to evaluate the comfort parameters, which leads to up to an 18.5% reduction in airflow requirements and energy consumption through design optimization.

The presentation will also cover how these diffusers achieve up to a 30% reduction in the residence time of infectious particles, while being compliant with ASHRAE standards, including ASHRAE 55 and 62.1, as well as the National Building Codes of Canada.

This presentation will offer a comprehensive analysis of how innovative diffuser designs and adherence to industry standards can improve both ventilation performance and energy efficiency.
