ASHRAE BC is proud to welcome Chris Willemssen to our December Meeting. During this virtual presentation, he will review the evolution and use of Electronically Commutated Motors (ECM) in the air movement industry.

Chris started as an engineer in the custom AHU industry in 1990, doing refrigeration and controls for one of the major semi-custom HVAC manufacturers.  He started focusing on fan arrays in 2005, working with an AC induction motor/cube style solution.  In 2016, he moved to Q-PAC to work exclusively with ECM based fan arrays.  He is a very hands-on person who thinks that getting as close to the install as possible makes for the most successful and budget friendly solution.

December is also our membership promotion month. On our December meeting, every member who brings a non-member guest to the webinar will receive a chance to win a $100 gift card. Sign your non-member friends and colleagues up to show the value of membership in ASHRAE and help grow our community.

Please register for the meeting using the ASHRAE BC Chapter’s web portal, which makes it simple for you to register and prepay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard).

Details for on-line access to the webinar will be provided to each registered participant prior to the event

Each registered participant will have one ticket entered into the ASHRAE Research Promotion (RP) prize draw. Additional prize draw tickets are available for purchase when you register on-line. Prize details will also be shown online. A virtual draw will take place following the completion of the meeting.
